Her dad was the youngest of 8 kids, so she was fortunate to grow up surrounded by lots of family in the little town of Kingsville. Family and friends mean the world to her, and she is blessed to have 3 of beautiful kids that call her Aunt. In addition, she is recently married to the best husband anyone could ask for and “Mom” to three fur babies she cherishes. Her dad and uncles were all builders, so it was only natural that she ended up in this industry. Her first job was in estimating and purchasing with Toll Brothers (8 years), and more recently, she worked for Champion Windows which is what brought her to Austin.

She joined Spicewood Communities in 2017, and her background in interior design, graphic design, administration and construction adds a diversified skill set to the sales team. Tess lives in South Austin with her husband and their three dogs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, camping and seeing live music. Her favorite hobbies are reading, cooking, photography, building furniture and other DIY projects.

    • Ryan Villalon,

      Community Builder

Originally from Corpus Christi, Ryan came to Austin for college and earned his degree in business administration from Concordia University. In what he considers one of the most pivotal moments of his life, he found himself supervising the construction and maintenance of docks on Lake Travis. Ryan took the passion he found for construction management, and his love of the environment, and created a company specializing in building alternative housing. However, he ultimately decided he wanted to supervise bigger projects, which led him to his most recent position as a construction manager for a homebuilder in North Austin. Ryan’s drive to push the standard has made him a great addition to the Spicewood Communities team. Ryan lives in Georgetown with his wife and two dogs, and he spends his free time on the lake, remodeling his house, or taking the dogs on adventures around Central Texas.
